Steve Orange Obituary

Steve Edwin Orange, 46, of Vinton, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 13, 2011. Steve was a devoted and loving husband and father and a special friend to many. He was a former Roanoke City Police Officer and a self employed businessman. Steve had a passion for the Lord and was an avid student of martial arts. He most enjoyed time spent with his family. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife and best friend, Stephanie Orange; his two boys, Nicholas and Zane; his parents, Kenneth and Alice Orange; and his brothers, Rick and Todd Orange. Steve is also survived by several sisters and brothers-in-law; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and a large extended family. Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, July 18, 2011, at Oakey's North Chapel with Pastor Everett L. Kier and Wayne Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. View Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, July 16, 2011, and from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, July 17, 2011, at the funeral home.
